Meet Margot Ismard - a young french luthier from the royal town of Amboise.

 

At 23, she is already crafting her own path in the world of instrument making.

Margot is graduated from the French National Violin Making School in Mirecourt, earning both a CAP and a DMA in lutherie.

 

She has learned from experienced luthiers like Cécile Grange, Guillaume Voinson, Patrick Robin and Roland Belleguic.

After working in Helsinki and Paris, Margot started working independently in late 2023. She is proud to collaborate with Viulumo Workshop in Helsinki, where her instruments are now available for sale.
